Religious Education Program

“Jesus said, ‘Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them;   for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’”

-Matthew 19:14

Welcome! We are so grateful that you and your family have joined us at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish. It is our hope that your children will grow up to be the future of our parish and the Catholic Church in the world.

We understand that life is demanding and that the religious education of your children competes with many other activities in your weekly schedule. Please know that the first and most important religious education tool at your disposal is weekly celebration of Holy Mass and participation in the sacramental life of the Church. We invite you to sing, pray, teach, respond and explain while you are at Mass. Our liturgy is full of spirit with you here and we know your children are learning from the way you worship.

Religious Education is offered in our parish grades Pre-K through eighth grade.

Families whose children attend catholic school and are in the 2nd, 7th and 8th grade are reminded that the children receive the sacraments at the parish where the family is registered, not with the catholic school the child attends. Contact the religious education office for more information at 609-390-2203.
